Hydric Soils
Information on hydric soils
is now available through the
on-line Web Soil Survey and the
Soil Data Mart.
If you are looking for soils
information for a particular
parcel of land, 10,000 acres or
smaller, use the
Web Soil Survey.
Follow the instructions to zoom
in on the parcel of land, use
the red "Area of Interest" tool
to select it, then click the
tabs for soil maps and soil
data.
If you are looking for a list
of hydric soils for a county in
Wisconsin, go to
Soil Data Mart Select
a state and county, and
select Soil Survey Area.
Click Generate Report, then
Select All Map Units, and click
generate report again. An
Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file will
be created for you.
