Example Sites, Soil Pits and Scorecards from Past Contests

Site 3 from the 2006 Southwest Wisconsin Land Judging Contest, hosted by the Lafayette County Land Conservation Department, November 3, 2006. Site 3  was a good example of a typical site for a high school contest.  The photos below illustrate the layout of the site and the pits.
